Although in the Nordic countries they cannot enjoy as many days of sun and terrace as we do in the south, they know a lot about terrace decoration. It may seem like a contradiction, but no, despite those few hot days, its terraces, we must admit, are more stylish and more welcoming than ours.
For example, having the terrace divided into two levels. it helps to better create environments and makes it easier to decorate different cosy corners, the same thing that happens with the rugs in the living-dining rooms with open kitchens, which help us to delimit the areas without creating physical barriers.
As you can see in the photos, on one level there is the outdoor dining room and on the other, the living room, perfectly surrounded by pots and umbrellas for the heat of the day and even candle holders to create ambient light at night.
The wooden floor also invites you to walk barefoot, another of the pleasures of the Nordic summer (the floor is always very hot here and you have to wear flip-flops XD). What do you think of these wooden terraces? Do you like them? What do you think of the two levels?
