Blinds – an alternative to curtains that are sometimes a little heavy and a bit dated. However, there are many models. It is not necessarily easy to navigate.
VENETIAN BLINDS
These are probably the most common blinds. There are all sizes and all materials, it is enough that it is a rigid minimum. For a contemporary living room or a living room with industrial trends, nothing better than metal slat blinds. As a bonus, they are easy to clean: just put a damp washcloth over the blades to remove the dust. For a more cozy and natural living room, wooden Venetian blinds are perfect. They bring a warm side to the room.
ROMAN BLINDS AND ROLLER BLINDS
Roman blinds also exist in different formats. They, therefore, integrate easily on many windows such as Venetian blinds. The big difference is that they are made of fabric and in one piece. It is therefore not possible to play with the inclination of the slats to hide from outside looks. What is possible, however, is to play with the different opening heights. This can add another dimension to your windows.
Since they are made of fabric, there are many models. You can play with the colors of the blinds to use the color of your sofa or its cushions. You can also create a contrast between your openings and the walls: color contrast, texture contrast..
Roller blinds have the same decorative properties as boat blinds. The only difference is the mechanism. And roller blinds are more contemporary than Roman blinds. They are more straight and once closed, they create a panel from top to bottom, soberer than the blinds.

PLEATED BLINDS
We really like this type of blind which is not yet very widespread in interiors. They are blinds on side rails most of the time, which are pleated like an accordion. It is possible to choose a color for the interior and another color for the exterior. They also allow you to play with the opening and closing heights. As they are not necessarily attached to the top of the window, you can adjust the opening to optimize the natural light in your living room while protecting you from curious looks.
