Victorian House Renovation by Neil Dusheiko Architects

Neil Dusheiko Architects have just completed a renovation of a Victorian house in North London. The project’s main features include a rustic reclaimed brick floor, a window seat area with large windows and skylights. This creates a beautiful outside-in approach with the garden area.

The beautiful yellow brick exterior of the original house was used as inspiration for the inside of the house. By using reclaimed brick tiles and a sloping roof with skylights retains a strong connection between the two.

The architects also inserted a window box seat for relaxing. This overlooks the beautiful green and colourful garden and is a perfect space to relax. The window opens out and this blurs the lines between the outside and in allowing the sun to seep into the kitchen all year round. The kitchen is fitted with a bespoke dining table and has a removable top which can be stored away and make space for a play area.

Reclaimed London yellow brick is used in the extension to complement the existing house. Wood cladding has also been added to add texture to the outside.
