Although it may not seem like it, this rustic house is new construction, identical to its neighbors. Until the interior designer gave him all the charm, personality, and light he needed.
A TIMELESS LIVING ROOM
Inside, as the interior designer wanted, there are several keys to lightening the wood: white ceilings, fiber blinds (they give a beautiful light and provide warmth), light furniture such as tables or shelves and in the living room, an off-white tone in the linen covers of the sofa, the star piece.
CHAIRS AND CUSHIONS FOR A TOUCH OF COLOR
The owners wanted color, so they put chairs on this rustic table that had nothing to do with it, upholstered in color and matching the cushions. To delimit areas, since this entire floor is open, the wall is made of oak.
A VARIETY OF TEXTURES
The designers played with a lot of textures. They have microcement in the kitchen, iron in the tables, natural fibers in the rugs and blinds, and the main wall of the living room are covered with jute paper. The window and the bench are a great viewpoint to enjoy the landscape.
ORIGINAL AND SIMPLE LAMPS
The lamps in the dining room are another detail since they are original. After all, they are simple. They are Dutch fiber, and we find them especially pretty. The table and the bench also attract our attention.
A YOUTHFUL BATHROOM IN MICROCEMENT AND OAKWOOD
The youth bathroom follows the same mix as its parents’: microcement on the floor and in the built-in sink, combined with oak wood furniture. What they changed were the wall lights, which were turned black in the suite. More fun!
IN THE BEDROOM THEY HAVE OPTED FOR LINEN TEXTILES
We say goodbye to this mountain ‘house tour’ in the master bedroom, which seems to tuck us in, attic and with lots of wood. But just as the decorator likes, it is stripped in a light tone. The headboard is made of oak and was made to measure with the same parquet as the house, ‘to give a feeling of uniformity’. Besides, it is practical, because it becomes a shelf for books.
CARPET AND STOOL FINISHING TOUCH
The bed ends with a rustic, natural fiber bench, perfect to complement the bedroom. Not forgetting, the rug that combines several colors.
AN ALMOST IMPROVISED SINK
In the bathroom, the idea of the furniture was a table with an almost makeshift sink. It is made of stone and is made to measure, it gives an even more natural look. The mirror has an oak frame, with the same wood, to unify and that there are no different tones.
