The serious passion that fashion designer Lisa Perry has for interior design, in addition of her love of fashion is pretty visible. So, when she felt ready to showcase her work in a book, along with publisher Martine Assouline, decided to feature her dresses and her homes. Mostly her homes, including the vacation retreat in the south of France.
Sometimes we bump into homes that actually have no personality. But, here we have something different, because her home is soΒ aesthetically consistent and wonderful.
She’s a girl who loves a theme, and that’s why her homes are such artistry. Her fashion line was primly inspired by her collection of 1960s look by designers like Pierre Cardin and AndrΓ© CourrΓ¨ges . If you know this, then you will notice that Perry’s residences gave the similar Pop Art feel, with bright white as a backdrop and adding jolts of color and blue-chip contemporary art.
Perry is a self-described Francophile, having a love affair with all things French that began in her teen years. She spent a summer during high school in Evian-les-Bains and she fell in love in everything that had to do with France. So, it was inevitable to find a not only a summer home, but a residence along the CΓ΄te dβAzur that would be a full-time home with her husband Richard. They found a house that sits up on a hill that was nearly completed and furnished. This modernist villa in Villefranche-sur-Mer has a breathtaking views of the Bay of Villefranche, so when you gaze out at the bay it really feels like you’re enveloped by a heart. So beautiful and so glam.
But, Perry’s love of interior design didn’t just appeared! It already runs in the family, since she grew up in modernist home in suburban Chicago and her mother ran an art gallery. The art-filled homes of Lisa Perry are such an amazing experience, and you are about to witness it in a moment. Enjoy the beautifully designed French Riviera home.
