The Bright Customed-Designed Kitchen of a Fashion Blogger

The kitchen is the heart of the home, one way or in many ways. This is the place where meals and memories are made, where we gather and where we nourish our bodies and souls. Today we will go through the house of the fashion blogger Rachel Parcell, that is 10.000-square-foot, six bedrooms, five-and-a-half baths. Our focus will be on the kitchen since it took a lot of time or her an her husband to design it.

The spacious kitchen has been made in the French country-style and is a reflection of her feminine and classic style. She wanted the marble to take a special place in the kitchen so when designing they also captured the light and the airy feel that the kitchen has. She wanted to bring that old-fashioned look with its marble backsplash and traditional white cabinetry, yet giving off a sleek and modern sensibility.

With so much natural light pouring into the space the kitchen is her favorite spot, so the biggest challenge was to design the kitchen that would be both beautiful and functional. Thoughtful details in each corner is just another part that had to be fulfilled for the final look.

So, the kitchen’s simple details like the white ceramics and natural wood are the classics with a touch of rustic.
