Do you want to raise the temperature of your bedroom in winter? Write down these ideas: warm textiles, a lot of wood, soft rugs, papers with a textile effect… And put them into practice in yours!
Few rooms in the house feel winter as well as the bedroom. And it is that it is during this season of the year when you most want to be curled up in bed and the “just 5 more minutes” seem to last forever. With how warm we are under that cloud of blankets and others, who gets up?
What we warm the most in winter in the bedroom is the bed. But we can also raise the temperature of this room without major changes. If you have summer and winter clothes for the bed, why not have a curtain for each season? A very useful resource, especially in areas where winters and summers are severe, you will appreciate it in winter, because you will gain extra insulation and comfort, and also in summer if you opt for very light fabrics.
Another option is to cover the floor with rugs, especially if you have cold pavement, whether ceramic or stone. You can also visually shelter the bedroom by covering the wall of the headboard with wallpaper –there are textile design ones that are very welcoming–, with wooden slats if you are looking to give it more personality or paint that wall in an intense color, which covers the space more.
And the small details also count, like the candles, which will also create a more intimate and pleasant atmosphere. Some LEDs simulate natural ones very well and are safer.
We’ve seen so many beautiful settings but the following were our favorites! Enjoy the splendid winter bedrooms:
