So House by Luca Marastoni and BONVECCHIO
Located in the heart of the Sardinia Emerald Coast, Italy, the SO House is a modern concrete house that was designed by architect Luca Marastoni and interior designers BONVECCHIO.
The home has five bedrooms which all have their own bathroom, tailored beds, desk and cabinets. All of the interiors in the SO House are characterized by a strong contrast between concrete surfaces and the warm tones of wood.
From the architects: “This amazing modern house is located on the first line of the Gulf of Portisco, in the heart of Sardinia Emerald coast (Italy).
The building its assimilated in the ground in almost its entirety shape, characterized by green roofs and large portions of windows modeled by reinforced concrete structures.
The outdoor shell pool is located just next to the hot tub bath and surrounded by a decking teak wood floor that marks the path to the private beach, just below.
The interiors are characterized by a strong contrast between concrete surfaces and the warm tones of wood. The furniture and the floor are completely customized, all realized in oak, treated in different shades, and solid too.
The kitchen is characterized by a long marble top with a dedicated breakfast area and walls covered by oak’s slatted and the best of Gaggenau appliances. The living room has a majestic tailored sofa with a lovely view on the bay, the dining room host a table in solid oak made by an unique cut and planed all handmade and E15’s additions. All the five bed rooms, completed by their own bathroom, have tailored beds, desk and cabinets.”
