Discover Poetic Garden

Poetic Garden is a tranquil private club designed to immerse visitors in a poetic and serene environment. This exclusive space, blending indoor and outdoor areas, serves as a showcase for customized whole-house products, seamlessly integrating them into a living space that exudes quality, versatility, and beauty.

A Harmonious Space

The Poetic Garden features an indoor area of 150㎡ and an adjacent garden of 180㎡. Unlike traditional showrooms, this space aims to integrate products within a realistic living environment. The design showcases the flexibility and transformative impact of the products, creating a cohesive and immersive atmosphere.

Innovative Design by BDSD Boundless Design

BDSD Boundless Design utilized the concept of a garden path to reimagine spatial flow, resulting in an indoor area that offers a unique and dynamic experience. The layout features winding paths, varied scenes, and a sense of discovery, ensuring that every step reveals something new. Artworks, small plant displays, and other elements enrich the journey through the space.

A Stroll Through the Garden

Inspired by traditional oriental gardens, the design of Poetic Garden reduces the scale to fit the available space while maintaining a sense of strollability. The chief designer, Lin Wenke, chose the name Poetic Garden to reflect both the artistic concept and the brand’s identity. Upon entering, visitors are greeted by subtle lighting on a black metal grille, drawing them away from the urban chaos and into a tranquil, imaginative space.

Creating Tranquility with Design

Partitions and translucent frosted glass create serene, virtual spaces with fluid transitions. This design technique blurs spatial boundaries, enhancing depth and charm. Shimmering light and angular steps guide visitors through the space, where metal grilles serve as both product displays and visual breaks.

Artistic and Functional Spaces

Liu Yuxi’s Tang Dynasty prose and Wang Shizhen’s Ming Dynasty travelogue both influenced the garden’s design, emphasizing twists and turns that reveal new perspectives. Metal grilles and suspended partitions filter light, adding artistic depth. This blend of form and function invites visitors to connect with the space and nature.

Emotional Resonance

After navigating the corridor, visitors enter the main interior space, designed for communication and connection. Post-COVID, there is a renewed appreciation for living spaces. Poetic Garden offers a quiet atmosphere that naturally highlights the quality and beauty of customized products.

Aesthetic and Practical Integration

Artworks of varying sizes and perspectives draw the eye through the space, enhanced by the interplay of light and shadow. Functionally, the space includes a kitchen, dining room, wine tasting area, living room, and tearoom. Dark tones in the dining area create a serene environment, while the tasting area’s frosted glass and recessed lighting evoke a hazy, artistic atmosphere.

A Journey of Light and Shadow

The living room and tearoom, separated by a low wall, utilize light to create a peaceful ambiance. Mid-century modern furniture adds cultural depth, emphasizing simplicity and elegance. Junichiro Tanizaki’s concept of beauty in shadows is reflected in the space’s light play, enhancing tranquility and imagination.

The Garden: A Natural Retreat

The garden, inspired by the rock garden of Ryoanji Temple, uses sand, stone, and carefully selected pine trees to create a natural, poetic landscape. Bamboo and moss add to the serene environment, embodying the unity of nature and humanity.
