Palma Plaza Spec Residence by Dick Clark + Associates

Dick Clark + Associates, a Texas based architecture studio, have designed the Palma Plaza Spec residence in Austin, Texas.
About half of the home was already built but they modified and completed it to suit the needs and wishes of the new owners.
The 3,300 sq ft residence occupies most of its lot which has a deep and narrow shape, but this didn’t stop the architects from creating several outdoor spaces.
The interior features an open-concept where the kitchen, dining and living room are connected to each other, or rather, aren’t divided. The best way to understand this design is through the pictures, so go ahead and take a look at them.

On a quiet residential street in Clarksville, this residence takes inspiration from the forms of the existing houses around, but updates the design with a modern material palette, expansive glass, spacious rooms and clean, minimalist interior selections. The front facade shows a narrow elevation of the design from the front, though the home uses the entire lot to open up the areas and create comfortable rooms. Each with a connection to the outdoors using pocket yards located adjacent to the interior rooms to blend a unique indoor and outdoor living experience on an urban property.
