We start the decorative week with the apartment of a young Nordic man who likes design and dark neutral tones. In addition to the distribution and decoration, very well thought out and optimized, one of the things that we like above others is the floor.
It is a wooden platform that imitates an aged solid floor and that in this case manages very well to give that depth and warmth to all spaces (it is the same floor throughout the house except the bathroom), in addition to combining elements and furniture .
It is a shade that is the perfect base for grays and blacks and all those dark metal touches or even the polished concrete of your kitchen countertop. Provides a certain industrial touch, without being cold.
Another thing that has caught our attention is the frames painted black, it is something that is repeated throughout the house, windows, doors, in wood and metal and it is striking because it does not stand out as we would imagine, as the immediate contrast is with gray, this effect is slightly reduced.
If we were to do that at home, surely we would have a churro, what we say about painting door and window frames is that there are people and places that have a style that when replicating it does not always work out…
