It is not the first house that we see made with containers, but it has amazed us as if it were.
The house is in Claverack, New York and the 6 containers make a total of 178 m² on two levels, not bad for a house-made with recycled elements, right?
On the ground floor, the distribution is open and there are the living room, the dining room, and the kitchen. On the upper floor of the house are the two bedrooms, each accessible by its own staircase, and each with a full bathroom and dressing room.
Outside they have built two wooden terraces as patios with direct access to the garden and if we like these spaces by day, at night we find them super pleasant for warm summer nights.
The interior is full of vintage elements, plants, and natural wood that give it that bohemian and carefree air, ah! and outside there is also a metal ladder to go up to the roof, another outdoor place that is surely worth it.
It seems to us a very original house and to take into account in these times of recycling and sustainable construction.
