Can you imagine that young people could all become independent when they finished high school and that they could also do it in a house like this one, so well decorated and so cozy? This mini penthouseΒ would be a dream for many.
In the Nordic countries, age 17 or going to university or vocational training is usually the time when most young people become independent. Many share an apartment, others go to a student residence and the luckiest people rent an apartment for themselves.Β Although it may seem early, this is the case in the Scandinavian countries, in fact, if a person aged 25 – 30 still lives with their parents, people think they have a problem or something happens to them.
It is true that in Denmark, for example, everyone without exception has a monthly scholarship if they decide to continue studying, which helps a lot to support them, but in addition, most often also have an hourly job or in summer and holidays.Β That here is not yet possible, our welfare state cannot support something like this and part-time jobs for students in many places is not abundant.
Unfortunately, the situations are very different and that is why we both have to adapt to some ways of living, that is why, when we see youth flats like this that we bring you today, it gives us a little bit of envy and grief, that our young people and we at the time, could not enjoy our longed for independence like this.
We like everything about this tiny 23.9 mΒ² flat, the ceiling windows that light up every corner, the oiled light wood floor, the Ikea mini kitchen, so cute, that bed, although basic, with a mattress on the floor, take advantage of a nook in the wall making it a very cozy corner. What do you like the most?
