Right in front of the Mediterranean Sea off the coast of Estepona, it is located in luxury urbanization. The interior design of the attic is one of the latest projects from the ‘FemontΒ Galvan Designers’ studio, which has filled the rooms with modernity and pastel touches.
Sea views from the private pool
The entire installation was carried out during theΒ first confinement, so it was a challenge to get deliveries and materials to arrive on time.
The spectacular penthouse is distributed inΒ an entrance, a living room, a kitchen, three bedrooms (one of the main), and three bathrooms (one of them en suite), as well as a large terrace with a private pool. All this without forgetting the clear protagonist with which the building blends: the Mediterranean Sea to which there is direct access from the urbanization.
Living room
In the space occupied by the living room and dining room, one of the most important in the house, the walls and pillars were covered, again, with a linen wallpaper in a soft tone and with oak paneling that travels to the entrance of the House.Β The protagonists of this room areΒ pastel and soft tones, with nods to makeup and copper tonesΒ to provide a delicate touch.
The dining room buffet, one of the most important pieces, was custom-designed by the studio in a gray lacquered finish and a top handcrafted from bovine leather.
In this space, oak paneling surrounds the sliding kitchen doors.
Main bedroom
The original distribution of the master bedroom was modified, eliminating the partition of the dressing room to gain in square meters.
Also, an oak headboard was designed that also acts as a latticework to add spaciousness to space, and the bedΒ wasΒ oriented towards the sea.
On the sides, there are Bocci lamps and the back of the headboard becomes a dressing table with drawers on the sides to enhance this use of space.
Kitchen room
In the whole kitchen, a whiteΒ prevailsΒ that brings tranquility and neatness.Β However, it is complemented by built-in appliances such as an oven and microwave in matt black and touches of color achieved from decorative elements such as glass or bronze vases.
Secondary bedroom
This bedroom was dressed on a wallpaper background.Β The headboard is made to measure withΒ oak slats and smoked mirrors so that a special rhythm is achieved together with the suspended lamps in white hand-painted fiberglass.
Second secondary bedroom
The remaining bedroom features theΒ mint green color of the headboard. Panels were placed in the roomΒ to give three-dimensionality and, precisely, to add aesthetic interest to the wall of this unique headboard.
The table lamp is the so-called Atollo by Oluce, an iconic design from 1936 in a white opal glass finish in Murano blown glass.
Terrace
Finally and as the jewel of the house is the terrace, with outdoor furniture that has been chosen in tones that play with the environment in harmony, being neutral with a touch of blue that reminds of the Mediterranean.
The lounge area has an L-shaped sofa, with coffee tables at different heights. The dining area has a table that seats eight to ten people in shades of white and gray, accompanied by chairs.
Finally, the hammocks and the tables are perfect to enjoy theΒ private poolΒ and the sea views from this spectacular terrace.
