Lots of Woods & Lots of Design in a Spectacular Swedish Penthouse

The original wooden beams in the ceiling, the solid oak floor, the credenza, and the teak wood dining table, chairs in walnut wood… There are so many elements in this attic that we like, that we don’t know where to stop.

If yesterday we showed you an open-plan and diaphanous Barcelona apartment, with traditional elements, today that tradition and that open distribution can be seen in this attic 3000 km away, in Stockholm, Sweden.

No less than 154 m² with fireplace, separate private areas, and social areas on a U-shaped floor that runs from side to side of the building, which translates into windows on both sides, lots of natural light, and lots of space.

They have had the wonderful idea of placing the fireplace in the center of that U or almost in the center of this part of the house, with the climatic advantage that this brings.

Curiously, to enter the house, you have to go up some stairs, the elevator goes directly to the entrance door located on the ground floor with a small hall, we imagine that it will not be inconvenient for its owners if they later have this spectacular house about steps, with small terrace and views included to the rooftops of the city.

What area do you like the most? For us, the dining room is a very Danish and very warm corner with all that wood and with all those Danish design furniture and another of our favorite design elements.
