The J&P House is an astonishing designer seafront villa in L’Ametlla de Mar, located in the residential area of Calafat in Spain. It is a stunning property containing 4 double bedrooms, 4 complete bathrooms, big open-space kitchen and dining room as well as an impressive living room with a fireplace.
The big terraces offer a breathtaking view over the sea and the nearby marina.
From the architects: “Modern concept single family villa on 2 floors located in the coastal Spanish village of L’Ametlla de Mar, residential area of Calafat (Tarragona – Costa Dorada), in front of the marina.
This project concerns a house of new construction in the town of L’Ametlla de Mar, in the province of Tarragona, seafront, with an enchanting view over the marina. L’Ametlla de Mar is a typical fishing village, with fourteen km of coastline, characterized by red rock cricks and sandy beaches, three marinas and the colors of the Mediterranean.
The wonderful light of the Mediterranean enters into this house through its large windows establishing a continuous source of dialogue with the outside. The elementary colors and noble materials join hands in this project in an inspiring and elegant atmosphere.”

The house is characterized by the combination modern and strong lines, open spaces, softened by the use of natural materials such as stone walls, marble and tropical wood which melt with the surrounding Mediterranean landscape.
Interior and exterior design, the modern touch and the constant presence of the beautiful sea view give life to a great formal beauty.
The constant presence of natural light is due to huge openings and windows. The architectural strategy has been studied to achieve this suggestive effect that is shared from all interior angles of the house.
The big garden offers enchanting corners with a wonderful sea view. Vegetation integrates with the interior of the house thanks to the presence of glass and the neutral colors.“
