People often mistaken when the room is lit only by a one lighting device and usually they select chandeliers or ceiling lighting. Although they are still used, you will agree that they sometimes seem outdated. We propose you to illuminate only certain parts of the apartment, so that the wall lighting will emphasize for example some important photos for you. Buy the largest mirror you can afford and put it in the central area of your room, as over the fireplace or on the sofa. Set it higher to avoid reflection. You can purchase several smaller mirrors to form a group that would achieve the same goal.

Do not leave the walls white! Certainly it is the opposite of what you have heard. White walls do not extend more room than other bright colors, so add a little character to the walls. Paint your room light blue or green. These colors can make the room visually larger, while the warm light tones will make it narrower.
