Elegant & Refined Swedish Apartment For Your Scandinavian Look Alike Home

When some say that minimalism is cold, bland, and impersonal, we would like to know if they think that of all minimal decorations and if they never think of poorly decorated and inharmonious places, no matter how many personal details they may have.

This 63 m² apartment in Stockholm, Sweden, is decorated in a very minimal way and still looks warm and cozy. Why? Well, a warm and pleasant decoration does not have to be filled especially with blankets, cushions, and candles, the choice of a range of warm and harmonious colors, soft natural light, soft and natural textures, and elegant finishes, a minimalist, cozy Nordic style home where we would love to live.

The building in which this apartment is located was originally built in 1886 and although in 1993 it underwent a profound renovation, they did not forget to restore that refined and elegant look to ceilings, doors, windows, and floors, with elements that were more fashionable in times past.

Cornices and panels on the high ceilings, decorative moldings, rose windows, high double-leaf white lacquered wooden doors, are all elements that transport us to other times, but that is not at all out of tune with the most modern elements, such as that open kitchen, with straight and minimal lines, in a light taupe color and with a white top with Silestone veins.

All the decoration is very light and light, leaving the prominence to walls, floors, and ceilings, which is a success, considering the qualities of the apartment.

This apartment, despite its size, is considered a luxury in Sweden, it’s just so you can see the different meanings that luxury can have in one place or another in the world, not everything has to be gold and diamonds to be luxurious.

Take a walk around the bedroom and the bathroom, which you will surely like as much as the kitchen opens to the living room.
