Anyone passionate about wine knows that one bottle is not enough. What you really need is a collection and, of course, that will also require investment in an air-conditioned cellar.
But why?
That’s exactly what we’ll answer in this post, in addition to a few more things. Come with us?
With all certainty in this world, the first and greatest reason for you to have an air-conditioned cellar at home is to conserve the drink. The cellar allows the wine collection to always be kept at the right temperature, away from vibrations, and with always adequate lighting.
This makes the product retain its aroma and flavors, everything a wine lover desires.
The ideal temperature for preserving wine is between 10ºC and 14ºC, exactly what the climatized cellar offers.
This temperature allows the wine to remain stable, preserving its original flavor and aroma characteristics. The cellar also allows you to serve the wine at the ideal temperature. In the case of red wines, this temperature varies between 12ºC to 17ºC and whites between 7ºC and 14ºC. Another advantage of the air-conditioned cellar is that it always keeps the collection at a constant temperature, which is very important for the conservation of wines.
The same does not happen, for example, in the refrigerator, where the frequent opening of the door constantly changes the temperature inside the appliance. That is why even the air-conditioned cellars have a locking latch to avoid unnecessary opening of the door and, consequently, interfere with the temperature of the appliance.
Light is another factor that influences the quality of the wine. Therefore, the more protected from light the better. The air-conditioned cellars have custom lighting with lights that do not emit heat, usually white or blue.
And do you want one more reason for you to have an air-conditioned wine cellar? For the simple pleasure of maintaining a special corner dedicated exclusively to your collection.
