For the kitchen, we have already had the opportunity to approach several colors. This time we wanted to offer you a more singular color: gold. It is a color that has made its comeback on the decor scene for several years and now it is quite easy to find decorative objects in gold color (without that being connoted color-of-granny-chandelier). In the rest of this article, we will, therefore, focus on how to use walleye in the kitchen.
We start with the most versatile atmosphere for a kitchen with a touch of gold: the feminine and bright white atmosphere. When we give you the images of white and golden kitchens, we have the impression of being in front of American decorations, a little like Martha Stewart. Everything is perfect, well thought out to look pretty. Even if in the end, we find it very pretty in the photos, don’t know if it’s so easy to set up. We agree that having a refined atmosphere with white first price cuisine is more complicated than adding one or two golden pendant lights!
In short, it is very pretty but it is not exclusively due to the golden decoration accessories. The rest of the kitchen is also thought to be refined. We will have immaculate kitchen facades, a tidy work plan, freshly cut flowers all year round in a pretty vase. In the daily realization, I have a doubt, especially when we have a life with children and/or a full-time job.
A little less in the spirit of Martha Stewart / American perfect but just as refined, we have the association of gold with black. Often we also add a touch of marble for the natural side and noble materials. Marble is not the ideal coating for the kitchen because it is fragile and porous. We can then look at other natural stones or other coatings created from natural stones. What is especially interesting is that this type of coating is not uniform. It will delicately bring dynamism, a movement on the work plan for example. The black kitchen facades, for example, will not give a one-piece effect thanks to the natural coating. And the walleye will also support this effect. In addition to creating a contrast, it will bring brightness.
