A Loft Where The Old Meets The Contemporary

In this loft bathed in natural light, old and contemporary styles blend deliciously to create a unique universe.

The beautiful volumes, the material effects, and the design icons associated with artisanal pieces add character to this interior dressed in white.

A delicious mix of styles

In the large living room, white comes in different shades. On the textiles of the bench, on the wool of the Berber carpet, but also the walls and the natural stone coffee table. The white parquet as for him also makes gain in luminosity.

Here and there, touches of gray bring contrast. We notice in particular the presence of the armchair, we love its organic curves so enveloping and comforting! To respond to these very contemporary lines, antique-style sculptures and handcrafted wooden pieces take pride of place in the room.

My favorites: the coffee table and its geometric top; but also the bouquet which gives the air very wild.

A sculptural staircase

Stairs have the art and manner of structuring a room while adding style. In this loft, the staircase leading to the mezzanine is both imposing and discreet, thanks to its rather minimalist railing and its white color, which allows it to blend into the decor.

Rooms with low ceilings

With such a high ceiling, creating a mezzanine was obvious. Facing the living room, the volumes are therefore divided into two parts: the kitchen, downstairs; and the bedroom upstairs. All the rooms can thus communicate and in this case, the decoration must be coherent!

The kitchen and bedroom appear to have fairly low ceilings, but the white nevertheless gives a feeling of grandeur. As in the living room, this shade is endlessly available thanks to the beautiful materials.

In the bedroom, the universe is a little cozier. The exposed wooden beams are left as they are, which gives the room a somewhat rustic feel. Here, natural materials have pride of place: on the ground, we discover a piece of jute covering; the rattan bedside table and the Scandinavian dark wood sideboard add a lot of styles.

We like the golden brass headboard, a surprising but successful choice!
