1. DECORATED WITH LIGHT PIECES
We can decorate as in large dining rooms if we manage to make all the elements add lightness: we have a wallpaper with classic motifs on the wall, but very integrated with very soft gray tones; We have a table for 6 but it is oval and with a very light top and legs; We combine two types of chairs but the semi-armchairs at the ends are made of natural fiber; we have a ceiling lamp but very coordinated and light…
2. MAY BE SMALL, BUT CLASSIC AND SOPHISTICATED
Yes, a bench can be classic if it is lacquered and follows the suit of the moldings, it fits perfectly with the style of the chairs. And to make it more sophisticated and really comfortable, the backrest also has to be upholstered.
3. MINI TABLES: IMPOSSIBLE SMALLER
This would be the minimum expression of a dining table: 60 cm wide and 90 cm long. And the chairs, of course, folding.
4. A DINING ROOM DOWN THE HALL! EXPLORE OTHER SPACES
Sometimes we resign ourselves to having a mini dining room because we do not look at the space and distribution of our house with different eyes. If you are lucky (yes, lucky) to have a long and wasted hallway, surely you can open it or incorporate it into the living room or kitchen. In this small apartment, it was a waste: one meter was gained from the kitchen (which also now receives natural light) and there the dining room was placed.
5. A SMALL DINING ROOM BUT WITH ITS OWN CHARACTER
Create a corner specially designed for the dining room, although it is open to the living room giving prominence, for example to the wall on which the table rests. The composition of frames stands out against the gray, the same color as the under mantel and the individual ones: a resource that rounds off the look.
6. DINING ROOMS THAT TAKE UP LITTLE VISUAL SPACE
In this case, it has been tried that everything is very decorated, of the same color. On the wall, the curtains, the lamps, the chairs … so everything seems to melt. The design of the chair, which is made of fiber, is especially light. Also the table. To round off the result: a mirror that imitates a window deceives our eyes by multiplying the light and the depth of the space.
7. IS THE TABLE LEANING ACROSS OR ACROSS?
Or exempt, of course. A bench and a few folding chairs give a lot of play. As it is placed, the table takes up very little space and can seat four people. If we support it on the wall by the narrow part of the table, five will sit, and if we set it free, six (or 7). That all these games are possible is also thanks to the gooseneck light that shrinks and stretches as appropriate.
8. LOW STOOLS FOR MINIS DINING ROOMS IN WALKWAYS
Sometimes we have no choice but to occupy a passageway… Those times, the table can be enough to fit: use stools that are completely hidden under it when you are not using them.
9. SMALL, NARROW DINING ROOM BENCHES
This runs along the entire wall of the dining room and in the sofa area it serves to support pictures, the television and it becomes a storage area. To sit, on the other hand, is much better than it is empty below, so we can comfortably place our feet and we do not have to sit on the tip.
10. MAXIMUM FLEXIBILITY: TABLES ON WHEELS
This is a single open space for a rustic style living room, dining room, and kitchen. It has an old table that is also extendable with two wings. But the important thing, in this case, is the wheels. When not in use for eating, it moves towards the back of the sofa, thus leaving more free space and acting as a support surface.
