Simple, carefree, in cottage style or with touches of color, these rustic entrance halls have been furnished with their star material: wood. Only she is capable of giving such warm receptions!
The typical rustic halls of mountain houses are covered with wood, not only in the furniture but also in the coatings. Proof of this is this cottage-style one, a wooden box furnished with a mini console, which seems to protrude from the wall, decorated with candles. What a warm welcome!
This little rustic mountain hall needed to look bigger. To visually enlarge it, interior designer Jeanette Trensig of Cado Interiors sanded and varnished the beamed ceiling and woodwork to make it clearer. He covered the walls with a wallpaper that imitates the skin of a pony in khaki green, very warm and welcoming. And he furnished it with small, simple pieces: an upholstered bench, a wooden coat rack, and a mirror with a frame decorated with deer antlers.
Who would have thought that an old haberdashery counter would end up being the star of this rustic entrance hall with a vaulted ceiling and stone walls! Yet another test of how to renovate an old piece of furniture and give it a second life. The interior designer Chari Manzano respected its green color, the same as the carpentry of the windows in the background and the vessels that decorate it. The original piece of furniture shares the spotlight with a colorful pile rug.
This rustic wooden hall is characterized by its curves, which range from architecture to decoration. A vaulted ceiling, doorway, rounded patterned bench, and corner nightstand is an ode to sinuous lines. Even the paneled mirror falls under its influence! The floral and pink cushions and the fiber basket on the floor add a romantic style to the decoration.
