For a child, a bedroom is more than just a place to sleep. It is a place to do schoolwork, listen to music, play games, sprawl on the floor, rough-house, read, build models, daydream, visit with friends and keep innumerable possessions. You’ll need to plan carefully to create a room that serves all those functions, to be comfortable and inviting.
According to the designers at Neopolis, this children’s bedroom was implemented for a young family and their small daughter (three years old). Here is more from the press release we received: “The interior of a child’s or student’s room consists of two main zones – the rest zone and the play zone which will eventually turn into a work and study zone. Furniture for children must be safe and suitable for their age. Children and students always create their own world around them and a well-designed space should definitely underline this creative spirit. Our interiors are full of light and joie de vivre. There is just one kid in the family yet, but in the case of a second child (boy) the room is designed in neutral colors – white, ivory, bright wood. There are two big storage spaces in the interior: one big wardrobe for clothes and one big closed cupboard for toys. Beds are orientated in one line – head to head“.
